caught Nancy Drew on a random weekday with the BF, he was on MC. thus he need not book in till yesterday.

i think the movie was relatively good. just like the typical nancy drew stories, there was a twist to the plot.

some may say not worth the money, but i disagree. i mean, one could spend 20plus on a fictitious storybook, so, what is 8bucks?

anyway i’ve been in love with reading since young, and i was also the biggest fan of the famous five, nancy drew, sweet valley high, mary kate & olsen, plus mystery seven. ho ho! ( i completed the entire collection of mystery seven in like, one school holiday)

haha oops, i sounded so geeky.

aside from that, next up is die hard 4.0 and harry potter :O

Shi Lin, Andy and myself joined Ms Credit Suisse at One Raffles Quay for dinner before heading to town.

We were too busy yakking non-stop that we overlooked on the need to snap. argh.

i was contemplating on “to blog, or not to blog,” then i realized, argh! i’m done with browsing all of the 123 blogs that i religiously go to everyday.

haha, very pathetic hor. erm, don’t pity me. sooner or later, i’ll be outta here. i swear.

well, seriously i do enjoy being here, i really like my manager and love that i can leave on time. it’s… just that i am not a desk-bound person.

i would love to stay, but i’m afraid i cannot simply allow my youth and future to be revolved around the laptop, the desk and the phone ONLY.

had dinner at suntec again with BF. he had the craving for steamboat, so we ended up at Joaquim.

i know! i am contradicting myself. but he was the one paying and he wasn’t the one broke wad.

satiated with (i think a million) clams, we proceeded for a walk down the fortune of wealth.

i attempted in conjuring him to make a dedication, but failed terribly.

haha.

well i guess that is all, am praying that i have exceptional stories to tell the next time i’m here

after umpteen ‘last-minute’ cancellations, finally met up with yinxia and her *clears throat* DANIEL WU.

aha. Jason claimed that lots of people have commented that he ACTUALLY? looks like daniel wu.

just for once, because he is enlisting into army soon, i lied.

despite the small medium room and the not-that-great sound system, we still had fun, because it was dirt cheap.

15th June, Friday

took leave as I was supposed to be in Msia, plus the fact that BF had one week’s leave.

however, due to certain unforseen circumstances, the trip was cancelled.

shopped with Jeryl and BF at AMK hub before sending him over to the BBQ.

and since it was a really beautiful day, BF and i decided to head to sentosa.

magnificent, isn’t it?

 

we decided to catch the new sentosa 4D magix show.

conclusion:

not really worth the 16 bucks for a less than 15mins show, although i did enjoy the true 4D effect. (water, sound, visual and touch?)

anyways, 20% for safra, UOB and HSBC cardmembers.

do present it before payment. the grouchy indian man refused to void the payment for us. grrr.

he didn’t even ask whether we have any of the cards until we asked.

16th June, Sat: Marina Sq & Father’s Day Dinner

Sis and I decided to bring Mum to Marina Square to choose her belated birthday present.

er, no photos of Mum’s bday present, but just FYI, we got her a pair of Adidas shoes @ 109bucks after disc.

after which, we treated Dad + Family for seafood at Bedok.

plus, we also bought a bottle of perfume from Gucci for Daddy.

and that sums up my entry on WHY I AM BROKE.

i hate birthdays, mother’s day, father’s day and Topshop.

just when i had the sudden urge to blog, i realized there wasn’t really much to divulge.

so i went to dig out all my past photos.

high-waisted shorts:

(argh, slipped my mind to suck in the tummy!) 

bought this high-waisted shorts from topshop for only S$36.00.

it was 76bucks before discount if i’m not wrong.

so freaking cheap. this is why i love the GSS.

although there are also numerous reasons why i hate it.

GSS kills.

naval piercing: 

Did my naval piercing about 2 months back.

hopefully it will not migrate soon, anyway, i think i need a new stud! the black one looks totally boring.

shrek 3:

together with the boyfriend, I brought jordan for shrek 3 at GV.

seriously, i think they should do the price differentiation for adults and children too at the movies.

i mean, it is so damn chor to bring a 7 yr old to watch a movie you know.

weekends tix- S$9.50 (after discount, S$8.00)

popcorn- S$8.00 (i dun usually eat popcorn when i watch with adults)

therefore, i’m actually spending S$16 + S$8 for my own tix when i go with a kid. grr.

even more expensive than when i go with an adult lor.

plus jordan’s butt is so small i think he only took up 1/4 of the seat man.

G2000:

nearly got this at G2000. damn ex leh. S$119 for that blazer alone. comes with a free skirt/pants lah, but no point cos both looked extremely weird on me.

but the blazer is gorgeous, plus the material cools your skin so you won’t feel a tinge hot while wearing it.

well well, but in the end i settled for an OSMOSE blazer and skirt. total after discount only around 50 odd. not that bad afterall i guess.

need to go do some work for the manager.
